Water Sports
Welcome to the wet and wild world of Maine
Outdoors Today Water Sports. We love the water and know that you do as well. Many
people love to sail. They enjoy the quiet as well as the challenge of harnessing
the wind and yet there are as many who love the rush of whitewater rafting.
Maine has
3000
lakes and ponds and 32,000 miles of streams and rivers. With that, we should
be able to find plenty of water to play in. If you enjoy paddling a canoe or
being pulled behind a speeding motor boat, Maine has plenty of lakes and ponds
for you. If none of our fresh water lakes are big enough, we have the Atlantic
Ocean bordering the southern coastline.
You have come to the right source for information
on rafting, sailing,
canoeing, kayaking, swimming and water skiing and
sail boarding. Whether
you're looking for a place to go play or get hooked up with an outfitter,
Maine Outdoors Today has that information. We are going to give you locations for
public water access and outfitters all over the state to assist you if needed.
If there are water related events we feel you need to know about, you'll find
them here.
We'll keep you informed and equipped as well.
